About Us

The Consortium for Global Development is a group of non-profit and for-profit entities that successfully guides development projects through all stages of the project cycle. The Consortium members are international, non-governmental, non-political, culturally diverse, and from the private sector.

By coordinating the efforts of project clients, funders, technical advisors, suppliers of goods and services, and foreign liaisons, we provide unrivaled strategic and technical consulting services that enable our clients to participate in high-value development projects with ease and confidence. Through the PDI Process, The Consortium analyzes a client’s project concept, brings in technical advisors to help the client effectively design the project, matches the best companies to supply goods and services, ensures that the project meets all funding guidelines, and then brings the strategically designed project directly to the proper funder for quick funding of the project. The Consortium significantly cuts the time to obtain funding, uses sole-source procurement to help quickly procure goods and services, and identifies the best cutting-edge technologies for a project.

The Consortium exclusively develops projects that have a significant social, economic or humanitarian impact on the community. We cannot develop projects that serve a purely private-sector purpose; every project must have a clear public benefit associated with it.
