How Trade Associations Work With The Consortium

Trade associations and The Consortium can work together to present opportunities for vendors, service providers, and technical experts to reach global market. As The Consortium expands its international development projects, we seek liaisons to help us identify the best technical advisors for projects and locate the best vendors and service providers who want to expand their businesses and participate in lucrative global development projects. The Consortium especially tries to help small and medium-sized businesses, and businesses owned by women, minorities, and veterans, all of which often face difficulties accessing global development projects.

Trade associations can inform businesses about the Global Contractors Library, which is a member of The Consortium and offers a free database that matches businesses to active development projects worldwide. For more information, please click here.

Technical trade associations can help their members find great opportunities to use their technical expertise in global development projects. The Consortium works with technical experts throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. For further details on the roles that technical advisors can play in development project, please click here.

In addition, trade associations can partner with The Consortium by becoming Industry Professional Referral Organizations, or IPROs. IPROs connect The Consortium to a wide network of technical experts by recruiting representatives from all major development industry sectors. IPROs refer industry-specific technical experts to work with The Consortium. IPROs also play a role in developing project strategies and informing project clients about viable project solutions. To become IPROs, candidates must have expert knowledge of their industry and an extensive network of industry contacts. For more information, please click here.
